TORI YORK MA, LPC
My name is Tori York, a dedicated and compassionate counselor committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. I take a client centered approach, meaning, you lead the way. We will work together to create goals and a treatment plan that feels best for you. With experience and training in EMDR, attachment, and IFS, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
One unique aspect of my practice is my therapy dog Izzo, a sweet and fluffy Great Pyrenees Bernese Mountain Dog mix. He joins me in most of my sessions, offering comfort, support, and a calming presence. Many clients find that his warmth helps them feel more at ease, making it easier to open up and engage in the healing process.
My approach to counseling is empathetic and client centered. I specialize in working with adult, young adult, and teen women as well as children. I believe in empowering my clients by helping them find their voice through our work together in order to create resilience and build confidence. I am passionate about helping clients increase their self esteem and ability to advocate and heal. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions or simply seeking personal development, I’m confident in our ability to work together and to support you on your journey to healing and growth.
Taking the first step toward change is never easy, but you don’t have to do it alone and I would be honored to walk along side you.
MY STORY
I grew up in Colorado and have always had a deep appreciation for nature. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where I also played for the women’s basketball team. After college, I had the opportunity to play basketball professionally in Germany and Australia before returning home to Colorado.
I completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University and later opened my private practice, Lily Grace Counseling, here in Loveland. The name was inspired by Lily Mountain in Estes Park, one of my favorite places and a reminder of the peace and perspective that nature brings.
I feel truly grateful to do the work I love—supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover new paths toward growth and healing. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, often in the mountains.
